The protection of drinking water sources is a major issue in people's livelihood, and the quality of drinking water sourceshad attracted increasingly attentions in recent years. The quality of drinking water sources from 91 counties and the degree of lakeeutrophication( TS/) from 31 lakes and reservoirs in Anhui Province were comprehensively evaluated. Evaluation results show that83 drinking water sources met the requirements and 91.2%satisfied with national standard for drinking water supply, which riverbased water supply satisfied 93.3%, lake and reservoir based water supply satisfied 87%, and groundwater-based water supply sat-isfied 87%.
