The influence of human activities on the swamping of Jianghan lake groups is discussed as follows: The siltation of the lakes has been accelerated since plants in those lakes were destroyed as a result of human activities,Reclaimed land from lakes results in lake shrinking.The rivers and lakes in this area have segregated and led to an accelerating growth of the aquatic plants.Lake water pollution has already changed the relationship between aquatic plants and plankton.It is conciuded that Jianghan lake groups may be withering into marshe and finally disappear if no measures are taken.Some suggestions to prevent them from being swampedj Are put forward.
