Based on the analysis of cores and outcrops around Qinghai Lake,the history of lake level fluactuation since late Quaternary has been reconstructed.Combined with the literatures on the lake evolution in recent years, the possible recons caused the high and low level of Qinghai Lake are assessed and discussed.Finally the tendency of the lake shrinkage is predicted.
