Abstract:Comprehensive evaluation and cluster analysis of trophic state were made on seven representative aquatic systems in the Fengqiu Experimental area.Based on the vegetation, the aquatic systems can be divided into emergent-macrophyte type,submerged-macrophyte type and phytoplankton type.The trophic indices of the macrophyte-type waters were higher than those of the phytoplankton type waters.In general, the trophic states of various aquatic systems were rather similar to each other with high indices.Thus, the waters are eutrophic or even hypereutrophic, possessing great potential for fishery development, A brief account on the standards and methods for the evaluation of trophic state of water bodies is given.
