Abstract:Description of the cover image of Issue 6,2022: Lake Daihai（40°32′～40°37′N，112°37′～112°46′E）is an endorheic lake in semi-arid regions. Located in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, it holds an area of ~53 km2 in 2018. In recent years, climate change and mankind activities have brought out obvious lake-area shrinkage, volume decrease, and salinity rise in the lake.
